Scientists from the Biological Sciences Lab of Kao Corporation in Japan have reported that green tea extract can boost physical endurance. They stated that regular green tea usage, whether in pill or as a drink, boosted endurance in mice by 8-24%.

They commented that a single dose of green tea extract didn't affect performance. Performance was only improved though long term ingestion.

We believe that that overall benefits of green tea on the cardiovascular system as well as its anti-oxidant activities are likely the reason for the endurance improvement.
